Kaila & Kirby - Disney Barn Wedding

OK y'all. I took Kaila & Kirby's engagement photos last December and knew right off the bat that they were the sweetest couple ever! I was literally counting down the days to their August wedding, and you could not have dreamed for a more perfect day. After a couple of weeks of awful, sweltering heat, they had the perfect 70-something degree day.

The morning started when we arrived at the venue, and wow they outdid themselves with the setup! Kaila is a huuuuge Disney fan, so scattered all throughout the wedding were Disney elements, in a super classy way. From hidden Mickeys on her shoes, bouquet, and cake, to an Up-themed guest book and card box, and their first dance song being A Whole New World, they did the Disney theme SO WELL 🙌🏼

We went to a nearby park for their first look, and Kaila wanted to prank Kirby by having one of his groomsmen put on a cheap wedding dress she had found and do the first look before she did 🤣 The reactions were GREAT and hopefully I don't get in trouble for sharing those photos 😂

The rest of the day was so sweet. Many tears were shed during the ceremony (myself included LOL). We got to go right across the street to a great field for some golden hour photos and I almost got plowed down by someone in their truck BUT WE PERSEVERED and made it to the end of the night and the dances! In addition to their first dance and dances with their parents, they also each did a dance with their kids - Kirby and his daughter (but mainly Kirby) brought down the house with their rendition of Let It Go and Kaila and Lyle boogied to Love is an Open Door.
