One of my favorite parts of this job is the people that I get to meet. Yeah, I love finding a great location, getting the perfect light, and taking the money shot, but without my clients, none of this would mean anything. Their stories and personalities are what make what I do so beautiful - because I am capturing something real.
Hannah & Max are some of those incredible people that I had the privilege of meeting because of photography. Proposal stories are my favorite, and they never disappoint, whether they are romantic, funny, or just a little bit of both! They got engaged this past summer when they were up north at the cabin with both of their families. Max had thought this thing out, too. The week before, his mom took Hannah to get their nails done and Hannah had no clue what was going to happen. They were sitting on a dock at the cabin, and Hannah says that she noticed Max kept saying something to the tune of "We've had some great times." over & over again. She still had no idea what was going on. She thought he was getting sentimental because she was returning to school soon to teach. She was WRONG Y'ALL. They started walking back up to the cabin and all their family was out on the back porch. Max got on one knee, and after several (hundred) "Are you kidding me??"s and "This is a joke"s, Hannah ultimately said YES!
They not only have one of the sweetest proposal stories, they also have an awesome daily life together. They do Crossfit and compete in competitions together, take care of their puppy, and LOVE the outdoors! I am so excited for them as they continue in their adventure with their marriage this October. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
